In #192 I tweaked our config to work around a build error in compiletest_rs (there's an open PR Manishearth/compiletest-rs#187 that should fix it up). We could also consider migrating to something like libtest_mimic, which is used in auto-impl.

We could also look at trybuild for this, which is nice and modern.
