Whenever running unit tests on bitrise through a fastlane scan action on our project, the tests time out with the following log message in the test log:

This issue does not occur locally and it doesn't occur on bitrise when not using fastlane. However, I can't really see how this could be a fastlane issue (might be missing something?), so I'm filing the issue here instead.

Hope someone has a clue of what might be causing this XPC communication to fail...

If it works with our Xcode Test step, then it's not a bitrise issue. You should report this on fastlane's GitHub - they had similar issues recently.

@viktorbenei It seems like fastlane could make a similar claim since all fastlane actions are working on local machines?

Will still file with them, thx.

Note: we just pushed an update for the Xcode 8 stack, Xcode 8.0 final preinstalled as well as fastlane (and all the other preinstalled tools) updated to the latest version.

Can you try to run a new build and see if the updates help?
