MASTERNODE GUIDE FOR WINDOWS
Download Windows wallet from here: http://www.entercoin.net/wallet/entr-qt-win.zip
If you prefer running on Ubuntu Unix based follow this link. It costs less than Windows VPS (50% the cost)
https://github.com/bitstine/EnterCoin-ENTR/blob/master/doc/masternode-unix-gui.md
It is advised that you get a VPS online that is running 27/7 and always online. We found Windows VPS with relatively good prices
at this website: time4vps.com . For Unin based VPS, There are Hetzner, Digital Ocean, Vultr and other providers.
You may exchange your current ERNTC to the new ENTR at https://stinex.net/trading/entrentrc
You may buy ENTRC from any of the exchanges that appear in the currency's page on CoinMarketCap.com :
Check out ENTRC markets at CMC: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/entercoin/#markets
The number of ENTR required to run a MasterNode is 3000 ENTR
MAKE SURE YOU BACKUP UP YOUR WALLET, AND SAVING THE WALLET.DAT FILE IN A DIFFERENT LOCATION.
1.Open and Run the ENTR-qt.exe wallet for the first time. You may choose a different location than the default for the wallet
files.
2.Your firewall and antivirus might pop up to allow connection. Please allow the connections by making appropriate tick marks.
3.In the lower left hand corner of the User Interface, you will see “Synchronizing with network” and other sync messages each
time you open your ENTR Wallet. If there is a problem synchronizing, it may say “No Block Source Available” instead.
If this happens, just close and re-open the wallet until it synchronizes.
4.Go to Tools -> Debug Console.
5.In the Console window enter: getaccountaddress 0 and copy the result. This is your MASTERNODE DEPOSIT ADDRESS, where you will
deposit the coins to create a masternode. Pay 3000 ENTR exactly into this address. No more, no less.
-·Wait for up to 15 confirmations of the transaction. DO NOT SEND FROM THE SAME WALLET AS THE MASTERNODE.
6.In the Console Debug window enter masternode genkey and copy the result. This is your MASTERNODE PRIVKEY.
7.Open Configuration File in Notepad. Click Tools then choose Open Wallet Configuration file. This config file is located by
default at C:/users/***Your windows username***/appdata(hidden)/roaming/ENTR/ENTR.conf Then paste in the following:
The final file should look like this:
rpcuser=ANYTHINGHERE
rpcpassword=ANYTHINGHERE
listen=1
allowip=127.0.0.1
staking=0
masternode=1
masternodeaddr=127.0.0.1:45333
externalip=You-VPS-IP-Address<br>
masternodeprivkey=PRIVATEKEYREPLACETHIS
8.Now save and close the config file.
9. Open Masternode.conf. This config file is located at the following path (or just click Tools, Open MasterNode file)
C:/users/***Your windows username***/appdata(hidden)/roaming/ENTR/masternode.conf Then paste in the following.
mn1 127.0.0.1:45333 PRIVATEKEYREPLACETHIS INSERTYOURTXID 0
10. if you dont know where to find your Transaction ID (TXID), just open your wallet, go to transactions and double click to
the 3000 ENTR transaction, the you will see the TXID.
11. save and close masternode.conf file.
12. Now Close the wallet by going to File -> Exit.
Open the ENTR Wallet again by running ENTR-qt.exe. This is how you will always start the wallet going forward.
13. Wait for 15 confirmations of the transaction of 3000 coins. You may need to wait longer. Don't worry.
If the MasterNode does not start immediately do not worry. If the steps are done correctly it will start in few minutes and maybe
up to an hour.
You can check the MasterNode status by typing the following command in the console: masternode status
You can’t perform that action at this time.
