  1. Convert the docs to markdown

    Mikolaj committed Oct 30, 2012
Links between the files still do not work due to github/markup#84.

  1. Moved test files to test/

    Mikolaj committed Oct 18, 2012
Also include the Haskell test program itself
  2. Replace raw syscalls with named syscalls

    Mikolaj committed Oct 18, 2012
But not all fit in the perf subsystem at once, unfortunately, see TODO.
  3. Merge branch 'commands'

    Mikolaj committed Oct 19, 2012
  4. Rename 'program' to 'tool' and 'command' to 'program'

    Mikolaj committed Oct 17, 2012
In preparation to creating the ghc-events-perf tool that takes
    multiple commands.
  5. Disable parsing of event trace for now

    Mikolaj committed Oct 15, 2012
It spams warnings (probably a bug in perf-script) and is unused right now.

  1. Disable sched_stat_sleep, sched_stat_runtime and sched_stat_wait

    Mikolaj committed Sep 27, 2012
These events are no longer recorded by default. They resulting
perf data files are 10 and more times smaller in my experiments.
  2. Add "--mmap-pages 128" to rec perf invocation

    Mikolaj committed Sep 27, 2012
That's an order of magnitude too little to avoid IO/CPU overload
with the current demo setup, but that's the highest permitted value,
unless rec-perf is run as root. Can be overwritten by the user.
  3. Add "--timestamp" to rec perf invocation

    Mikolaj committed Sep 27, 2012
From linux-perf-users@vger.kernel.org: That option adds the timestamps
to the samples if it were not otherwise added.
