This issue originates from this forum thread:
http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Web-and-WebWorks-Development/HTML5-DirectoryEntry/td-p/1925105

The developer reported seeing SECURITY_ERR when he writes a file to the shared documents folder using HTML5 file api. He has correctly unsandboxed the file system prior to writing.

The problem cannot be reproduced in other apps, even if I tried the exact same code that he uses to write the file.

He finally narrowed down the problem:

I'm using jquery mobile, and all of my pages are in one index.html file. To change a page I use $.mobile.changePage("#pageID")
Whenever I use this to navigate away from the home page, the error occurs when I try to save. However, if I try to save straight from the home page, there aren't any problems. I also get the same error "SECURITY_ERR" when I try to read from anywhere other than the home page. A little work around that worked for me was to put the page that I'm saving from at the top of my index.html file and force it to change the page at startup to the correct home page. This isn't a good enough solution though, since then can't read because I read from another page.

I'm facing the same problem - getting SECURITY_ERR when trying to access filesystem from view other than main index.html.

Is there a chance that accessing filesystem from another view will be permited? Or I have to use hacks that will kill MVC approach if work at all?
