Be able to easily manage, switch, and persist a group of active sessions

Please explain the motivation behind the feature request.

When using goose for several tasks at once, it can be hard to manage several windows at once. It can also be difficult to remember what previous sessions are important.

Describe the solution you'd like

For instance, if I have 4 sessions but occasionally open and close shorter lived sessions then my session list is entwined between the longer and shorter sessions. It would be great if there was something like an "IDE mode" where I have X active sessions in a left hand pane, possibly with status indicators to tell me if they are working on something or done. It would also be great be able to close goose and reopen with those same X sessions

I'm going to close this one. we are actively working on making multiple sessions work in one goose window while maintaining the ability to have multiple windows. let's see how that goes and revisit the idea when that lands?
