These are elements within SignalCheck which do not work as well as they should, but the cause is out of our hands at the moment; Google or a device manufacturer needs to fix the issue. Some issues impact all users, some impact only certain Android versions, and some impact only certain devices.
Android OS issues
Please help raise awareness of these bugs to Google and the developers that maintain the Android operating system by adding a "+1" to each of the following entries on the official Android Issue Tracker. This only requires a click of the
icon on the top right of each issue page. This will increase the visibility of the bug report, which increases the likelihood of a faster resolution.

Manufacturer-specific issues
Users on some OnePlus devices and other users with third-party launchers including some versions of Nova Launcher report that the SignalCheck notification icon(s) remain white even when a light background color is present on the status bar on some OS versions. This is controlled by the launcher and will need to be fixed by OnePlus or the launcher developer(s). The SignalCheck icons are designed in accordance with Android developer guidelines.
Most, if not all, Huawei devices do not report signal information to the Android OS, therefore SignalCheck (and other similar apps) cannot obtain any useful data. Please feel free to submit diagnostic reports from within the app (Help > Send Diagnostics); perhaps some valid data may appear in future device updates.
