Perhaps the console.log detection code should pay attention to the project type, and, i.e., fail on Ruby (or Rails) apps, or pass on Node apps?

See https://devcenter.heroku.com/articles/ruby-support and https://devcenter.heroku.com/articles/getting-started-with-nodejs for examples of how Heroku detects Ruby and Node apps, respectively.
