After upgrading from 0.7.6 to 0.8.1 I found all my running containers in ghost state. However I can't seem to recover those containers using docker stop or docker restart as advised in the documentation.

$ docker ps
CONTAINER ID IMAGE COMMAND CREATED STATUS PORTS NAMES
673956a34fb3        73f33c0d6a0a        micro-inetd 22 /usr/   6 days ago          Ghost               0.0.0.0:49533->22/tcp, 0.0.0.0:49534->8080/tcp   container-fjakobs-q5-123
...

$ pgrep -f 673956a34fb3
3241

$ docker stop 673956a34fb3
unexpected EOF
2014/02/24 11:15:48 Error: failed to stop one or more containers

$ docker restart 673956a34fb3
unexpected EOF
2014/02/24 11:15:52 Error: failed to restart one or more containers
