This is a Python package for use by Gimp plugins.

It buffers a Gimp drawable (you read a Gimp drawable into it, modify it, and flush it back to Gimp.)

It puts a different API on a Gimp drawable.
The API is more object oriented, having these classes:
- Pixmap
- PixmapMask
- Coord
- Bounds
- PixelelID

It offers subscripting of Pixmap (yielding a pixel) by Coord objects instead of tuples.

Subscripting returns pixels as Python arrays (1D) of pixelel values.
(i.e. an array of 4 ints of RGBA, or an array of one int of mask.)
That is, Pixel is not a class.

There is no Pixelel class (they are just ints.)

A PixelelID is a 3D coordinate of a pixelel (a coord, and an index of pixelel in pixel at coord.)

Since a Pixmap is basically a GIMP drawable (which has a selection mask),
a Pixmap also knows (has-a) selection mask.
