    .cabal: fix depends for 'cabal configure -fbuildtests'

    trofi authored jgoerzen committed
    $ cabal configure -fbuildtests
    $ cabal build

    Database/HDBC/SqlValue.hs:25:17:
        Could not find module `Data.Text.Lazy':
          It is a member of the hidden package `text-0.11.0.6'.
          Perhaps you need to add `text' to the build-depends in your .cabal file.
          Use -v to see a list of the files searched for.

    Added missing depend for test.

    Deal with multi-byte ByteString to Char

    jgoerzen authored
    from Philip Weaver:

    In the instance Convertible SqlValue Char, in the case of a
    SqlByteString, the code looks like this:

      ...

    This will fail if the ByteString corresponds to a single multi-byte
    unicode character. B.length returns the number of *bytes* in the
    ByteString, not the number of unicode characters. I believe this case
    should just skip the check, and simply do this:

    ...

    After we've decoded the ByteString to a String, a single multibyte
    character will correctly be a singleton String.

    fetchAllRowsAL no longer converts column names to lower case

    At least with Postgres and libpq, the database will always produce
    column names in lower case, unless the column name is case sensitive
    (in which case you don't want it converted to lower case.)
