SimpleDB currently lacks a tutorial. Need to show how to create a domain, populate, update, delete, and query records. Cover eventual consistency, and mention SimpleDB's relatively erratic performance characteristics. Point to DynamoDB as a consistently faster, but more expensive, alternative.

I'd like to take a stab at it.

Rock on, it's yours. I don't appear to be able to assign the issue to you, but I'll assign it to me so others know it's being worked on.

That would be really great. I'm still new to using boto, and things like getting the item name back so I can try to delete it is not obvious from the docs. I still haven't figured it out..

As a new user, I'd be happy to give feedback on any new SimpleDB docs that are written. If rdodev hasn't done anything with it, I could give it a try, using other tutorials as a template.

I think this should be closed since now we have a SimpleDB tutorial.
