@jimbrowne

I put together a script to allow one to quickly list pending instance events in one or all regions, sort by the header of one's choice, and include selected instance tags in the output. I borrowed heavily from list_instances.

I wrote this since the AWS console currently does not show instance tags on the scheduled events page and so I can wrap it up as a NAGIOS plugin and IRC bot RSS feed.

@jimbrowne jimbrowne Initial revision of instance_events, a script to list pending
events for all instances in a given, or all, regions. Also prints
a selected tag (default: hostname)

@jimbrowne jimbrowne Allow specifying headers to display and a sort order in

@jimbrowne jimbrowne For instance status events AWS inserts "[Completed]" into the
event description when the event is completed rather than removing
the event from the list. Add a new option --completed that represents
the window times as "Completed" if the event has been completed.
