Hi @A-nkt thanks for the feature request. I could see how this would be a useful feature to have. However, it would need to be provided as an API from the QuickSight team in order for boto3 and other SDKs to use it.
Hi, we currently do not have APIs to support the export of dashboards and/or visuals. This is a capability that we have on the Product Feature roadmap
I will try reaching out internally to see if there are any updates since that post. Also, I created a new issue to track this request in our cross-SDK repository where we track API-related feature requests: aws/aws-sdk#533. Please refer to that issue for updates going forward.
Any progress on this issue? I would think that being able to automate PDF export as part of an automated visualization publishing pipeline to company teams would be invaluable?
Describe the feature
Please implement PDF download function in quicksight.
Abstact
From the management console, there is the ability to output to PDF. I would like to see a way to implement this using boto3.
Use Case
We use Quicksight as a template for our PDF offerings.
