As far as I can see, this is still the case... How is this GDPR compliant exactly? I wanted to delete my account that I never got around using and can't find a way to do so.

Hi @alatiera - I'm not sure if there has been any progress on making a self-service option for this, but I do know you can email with a request to delete your account and it should be taken care of.

I'm surprised that 1,5 year later Bountysource still hasn't succeeded in making its site GDPR-compliant.

This is a terrible service.
You send this kind of junk email saying you have to pay for innactivity . AND you cannot delete your account !!!
This is against the European GDPR laws! YOu have to stop this quickely.
We have the right to manage and delete our datas in Europe.

For anyone else who finds this thread, almost 8 years after the original issue was filed emailing is still how accounts are deleted. Be prepared also for slow response times too, I first emailed in August but there's not been any progress yet.

I wanted to support the Luxcore team and signed up for a $10 monthly payment. No emails for this shit website for months and then they took out $70 just like that !!
