I have an issue since the last update few days ago with fdroid.
Started by "fingerprint problem", even when i uninstall and reinstal the app i can't open my keepass DB that i use for long time ago.
I can create a new dB and open it but when i try To open the old one the app just stop running without any issue message.
Fortunatly i have a copy of this db on lastpass but i prefer using keepass...
Thank you for your help

I am hitting a similar issue. With version 2.3, the app crashes opening my db. Downgraded to 2.2.2.4 from FDroid and I can open the db.

I'm running Android 7.0 on a Moto G4

Thank You, i didn't try to downgrade, it appears to be the only way to solve our problem waiting for a new update.

Same here, KeepassDroid crashed with no error message after the update to 2.3 when opening my long existing database.

I had to downgrade to 2.2.2.4 to be able to open my database.
Using Motorola Moto E 2015 with LineageOS 14.1 latest update.

Same as everyone else. Running on Nexus 6P, CopperheadOS ROM. No root, bootloader locked.

I don't even see 2.3 in your change logs. Concerning.

Thanks for the update! I will stick with 2.2.2.4 until I see a new version from master. Thanks for the great application.

@bpellin unfortunately there is currently no way to determine if a release is a beta or not when looking at the git repo.

Could you tag beta/prerelease versions with a -beta suffix or anything like this? These can then easily be excluded from the f-droid auto update check.

Same problem on my Nexus5 under LineageOS.
Downgrading to the version 2.2.2.4 solved the crash problem during the database loading.
Thanks for the tips !

I disabled version 2.3 in f-droid now. It should disappear with the next index update.
