Text2HTML

Text2HTML is a command line program which converts text files to HTML. It is supplied with a desktop frontend, but is also useable on its own.

NOTE: This is a RISC OS app and will not run on other platforms.

Frontend use

  1. Double click on the !Text2HTML icon - this will place an icon on the iconbar.
  2. SELECT clicking on the iconbar icon will open a setup window.
  3. Fill in the information needed and SELECT click on 'Run'. Use the interactive help to get information about what to fill in where.

This will start the Text2HTML command line program and open a window showing the status.

Syntax

Text2HTML source file (Text) target file (HTML) Header file (HTML) BODY-Tag file (HTML) Footer file (HTML)

To use a BODY-Tag file you must also specify a Header file. To use a footer file you must also specify a Header file and a Body file. The source and target parameters are mandatory.
