Description

There is a bug in i3WM on the Brave browser. I tried it Chrome and Firefox (didn't have pure Chromium to test it there too, but I'm hopeful it would work there as well), and there was no problem on the other browsers.

The problem is that the audio that is produced is just "crackling" sounds, and the video is fast forwarded (tried on youtube). Then on some videos it works after a while.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Install i3wm/use i3wm
  2. Open Brave browser
  3. Open Youtube/Facebook or any site with media and open 2-3 different videos

Actual result:

Crackling sounds for audio and fast forwarded video

Expected result:

To work as it would be expected by anyone

Reproduces how often:

Always - almost always

Brave version (brave://version info)

Reproducible on current release:

Didn't try

Website problems only:

Reproducable on any site and without shields.
