Description

The problem refers to #5220

The solution posted is currently a work-around, which fixes the problem but creates another one by disabling #hardware-media-key-handling and thus playback functionality allowing to play/pause/next media using hardware kyes on some devices.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. When using a device with dedicated hardware keys for media control, try disabling #hardware-media-key-handling in brave://flags to see your ability to control playback through those keys has disappeared.

Expected result:

Functionality of the media keys should not disappear on behalf of the annoying windows 10 media popup

Reproduces how often:

easily

Brave version (brave://version info)

0.70.121 Chromium: 78.0.3904.70

Revision | edb9c9f3de0247fd912a77b7f6cae7447f6d3ad5-refs/branch-heads/3904@{#800}
OS | Windows 10 OS Version 1903

Other Additional Information:

I dont know why, but with Iridium the volume popup doesn't come up (the extended popup with media control, that is). So I imagine there must be a way to disable it.
