Browserify output is non-deterministic. Trying to cache-bust using hash of bundle contents.

I'm hashing the bundle contents for cache busting purposes but the bundle output changes even when there are no changes to the source files.

Sounds like this was previously addressed but regressed. See #711

Is there another way to do this? Thanks!

been hitting this too—i figured https://github.com/browserify/deps-sort should make sure this doesn't happen. no clue what's going on with that yet personally.

I don't believe anything related to this has landed recently. It's difficult to reproduce so I don't know what's causing it.

I'm also having this issue. The output files always have the same byte length but the imports order is different. I'm not using Uglifyify at the moment so this is a browserify issue.

I don't have anything set up with this issue that I can share.
I've set my cache bundle hash based on the file byte size and it's original name until there's a fix for this.
Not the best way, but it works for me right now.
