Not actually related to resourceTimeRanges, reproducible also with only events if the eventRenderer sometimes returns a string and sometimes a DomConfig with children.

Problem is in relinking of elements when a previously released is being repurposed, the string scenario has no children and it crashes when trying to link for the new that has.
