This program can be used to see exactly how much time you spent working on file X, project Y or language Z.
It can also be used to see for instance what your most productive time of the year, month or week is.

In the long-run, this might help you make better time estimates, while also providing you with an overview of what you have worked on (which can also be nice for CV’s).

The program isn’t confined to any pre-programmed reports and allows you to query the data yourself using a simple language. Output is in plain text, html, xhtml and CSV (support for more formats is planned for the future).

To find out more about the language that is used to query the log, take a look at the The Query Language and the Example: Interactive Query Session. It should be easy to understand if you have worked with something like SQL before.

For command line options, try the —help switch.
