Why? 1. It was only really being used by one thing (PGSubscription) 2. It was overly complex 3. It was causing crashes on Lion Now PGSubscription is carefully specified not to be thread-safe. It would be trivial to make it thread safe, but since it posts notifications to the main thread, that doesn't really make sense.
We'll have to pull the latest XADMaster at some point again anyway, so this isn't really a big deal.
