As the Co-Founder and Executive Director of national non-profit, Operation Code, Conrad Hollomon helps transitioning service members, veterans, and military spouses enter the world of software development. With an open source code base, Operation Code is constantly expanding their impact. The free membership offers a supportive, like-minded community, access to scholarship programs and coding bootcamps, one-on-one mentorships, a career-launching job board, and more.
Conrad has spent almost a decade building software development teams, and is currently focused on supporting early-stage startups, “helping founders, making awesome products, and helping founders make awesome products.”
A former military officer and Afghanistan veteran, Conrad has held the titles of Executive Officer, Battalion Signal Officer, and Company Commander—with experience in light infantry, information technology, and tactical communications. He has received the Army Commendation Medal, the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, and the Global War on Terrorism Medal, among others.
When he has free time, Conrad enjoys teaching computer courses at the public library, reading about organizational behavior, and trying new restaurants.
