This help might be contain some pre-release of the new features.

Introduction

CalcNote is the the notepad calculator designed for smart phone. You can immediately obtain a calculation result while allowing recognition of a calculation process.
If you make a mistake, you don't need to start again, you can edit your expression like in a text editor. Of course, you can write a memo for your problems.
You can do multiple calculations at the same time, and edit previous lines at any time.
CalcNote is only available on Android, and I don't have a plan to release CalcNote to iOS.
Because macOS and iOS have a great notepad calculator Soulver.
I highly recommend Soulver if you are using an iOS or macOS.
I always use Soulver on my mac. CalcNote's user interface was inspired by the Soulver.

Difference between Free and Pro editions

There are two editions for the CalcNote, Free and Pro (JPY 580).
Free edition has the same functionality as the Pro edition but it has the following restrictions.

  • Ads will be displayed on the top of screen.
  • We use analytics services to understand how users use CalcNote in order for CalcNote to improve its software.
  • Can not use the floating widget

If you like the CalcNote, I hope you'll consider purchasing the Pro editon.

Permissions for Free edition

Permission Purpose Of Use
control vibration Required to vibrate the device.
view network connections Required to show the AD on the top of screen.
full network access Required to show the AD on the top of screen.

Permissions for Pro edition

Permission Purpose Of Use
control vibration Required to vibrate the device.
view network connections Required to send a crash report to the Google server.
full network access Required to send a crash report to the Google server.
Google Play license check Required to check the license for CalcNote Pro.
draw over other apps Required to show the floating widget.
run at startup Required to start the floating widget when Android is launched.
