fixed file permissions user-visible spelling errors

at least those visible on the UI
CRLF is really only used on W32 and shouldn't be committed to git as such.
use git's "core.autocrlf=True" configuration to get the proper EOL on all
OSs (on checkout for that specific OS)
source files shouldn't be marked executable.
images even less so.
