Robert reported issues running test cases in SuSE environments.
After some work, I got a SuSE lxc container going.
Inside, I could run nosetests except
test_install_chef_from_omnibus_has_omnibus_version
test_install_chef_from_omnibus_runs_chef_url_content

Occurs on opensuse 42.3 with distro provided
python-httpretty=0.8.8-7.1
python-ndg-httpsclient=0.4.0-3.2
python-pyOpenSSL=16.0.0-4.1

Launchpad attachments: testcase showing issue. Fails in openSuSE 42.3 environment.
