None of the existing/closed issues re:bootstrap seem to cover what's happening to me, so:

  • OS X 10.8
  • Jam 0.2.13
    $ jam install bootstrap
    installing from repositories bootstrap
    bootstrap already installed -- reinstalling
    Building version tree...
    repositories checking "bootstrap"
    installing bootstrap@2.2.2 (cached)
    updating jam/require.config.js
    updating jam/require.js
    OK
    $ ls -l jam/
    total 176
    drwxr-xr-x  15 ravi  staff    510 Feb 19 11:25 bootstrap
    drwxr-xr-x  10 ravi  staff    340 Feb 19 09:51 d3
    drwxr-xr-x   6 ravi  staff    204 Feb 19 09:58 jquery
    -rw-r--r--   1 ravi  staff   2730 Feb 19 11:25 require.config.js
    -rw-r--r--   1 ravi  staff  82354 Feb 19 11:25 require.js
    drwxr-xr-x   8 ravi  staff    272 Feb 19 09:51 rickshaw
    drwxr-xr-x   4 ravi  staff    136 Feb 19 09:52 transparency
    $ jam compile -i bootstrap xyz.js
    compiling xyz.js
    include bootstrap
    Failed

OR:

    $ jam compile xyz.js
    compiling xyz.js
    include bootstrap, d3, jquery, rickshaw, transparency
    Failed

But this works:

    $ jam compile -i jquery -i d3 -i rickshaw -i transparency  xyz.js
    compiling xyz.js
    include jquery, d3, rickshaw, transparency
    OK: xyz.js (5698ms)

I do not see any option in Jam that I can use to get more a verbose report of why it failed. None of 'man jam', 'jam -h', 'jam --help' suggest such options.
