Context

AMY’s search results have a new look, however this new look has made it difficult to find the things we are looking for. This document outlines the old view, current view and proposes an updated way to view AMY search results.

Updating the search result view

We have outlined 2 options to make the search result view easier for us to use and would like to see if either of these view options are possible. WAT are okay with either option although it sounds like the preference was for proposed view 2.

Please check out the mock up or outline here: AMY Search Result MockUp

Questions:

  • Is it possible for us to update the search result view to something similar to what has been proposed?
  • Can we change how memberships show up in the results? Can this be similar to how organisations results show up with Domain Variant Dates? or Domain and dates?
  • For the Organisations and Membership results, can we enable a hover option, so that we can hover over the domain to see the full name of the organisation?

@Talishask I can rework the search results page so that it looks like option 1 or like option 2 (both are feasible). I can even create a mixup (first tab contains filtered columns, other tabs work as they do now). Please decide which solution will be better for you. If you need "live" mockups I can prepare these as well.
