# Configuration `plugins/CMB/config.yml`. Every key has a default, and a missing or malformed file falls back to the defaults rather than stopping the plugin — the behaviours it registers are what make served stairs work at all. Unknown keys are **reported, not ignored**, so a renamed toggle does not silently revert. ## Which reload to use | what you changed | use | |---|---| | `tools.*` (glow colours, outline block, radii) | `/cmb reload tools` | | everything else | `/cmb reload all` | `reload all` reinstalls the pack and triggers CraftEngine's rebuild, so it costs every player a resource pack. `reload tools` does not. --- ## `craftengine` | key | default | meaning | |---|---|---| | `max-internal-states` | `5120` | Ceiling on CraftEngine internal states this pack may declare. Must be at or below `block.serverside-blocks` in CraftEngine's own `config.yml`. CMB uses **368**. | | `reserved-states` | `64` | Held back and never handed out. CraftEngine allocates states for its own blocks and other packs draw from the same pool, so the tail is left alone. | ## `compatibility` | key | default | meaning | |---|---|---| | `unsupported-content` | `disable` | `disable` skips content the running server cannot represent and reports it. `fail` refuses to reload and keeps the previous pack. | Availability is decided against the **live registry**, not a hardcoded version list. This only decides what happens to content the server turns out not to have. ## `content.warped-nether-wart` The warped nether wart crop is this port's own addition — planted on soul sand like nether wart, nine to a wart block. Each way of *finding* it has its own switch: | key | default | meaning | |---|---|---| | `fortress` | `true` | In a newly generated nether fortress, each nether wart patch has this chance to come up warped. | | `fortress-chance` | `0.25` | Chance per patch, 0–1. | | `biome-edges` | `true` | In newly generated terrain where a soul sand valley meets a crimson or warped forest, seed specks of soul sand with wart on top — warped beside a warped forest, regular nether wart beside crimson. | | `biome-edge-chance` | `0.35` | Chance per edge spot, 0–1. | | `nylium-planting` | `true` | Regular nether wart planted on warped nylium grows as warped nether wart. | > **There is no master switch for the crop itself.** These three booleans gate only the > acquisition methods; the crop, its four growth stages and its recipes are always emitted. > Setting all three to `false` leaves a crop that exists and can never be obtained. > Disabling the crop entirely removes the items, and removing an item also deletes every > recipe naming it as result *or* ingredient. ## `features` ### `vertical-slabs` A slab stood on edge. Furniture, because nothing vanilla collides like a standing half-block. | key | default | meaning | |---|---|---| | `cmb` | `true` | one per CMB slab or stair material that is served | | `vanilla` | `true` | one per vanilla slab, so `oak_slab` gets an oak vertical slab without spending a carrier | | `disabled` | `[]` | material names **without** the `_vertical` suffix, e.g. `oak`, `andesite_brick`. Wins over both toggles; a name not otherwise offered is reported rather than silently ignored | | `stonecutting` | — | one stonecutter recipe per slab, from the full block, giving one | | `doubles` | `furniture` | what two slabs in one cell become: `block`, `furniture`, or `both` | ### `horizontal-stairs` A stair on its side — an L filling three quarters of the cell at full height. The corner piece for vertical slab walls. Furniture, same `cmb` / `vanilla` / `disabled` meaning, plus its own `stonecutting`. ### `furniture-fallback` Every CMB stair, slab, wall, fence and pane served as furniture. `true`, `false` (none of them at all), or a list of names to serve only those, e.g. `[calcite_slab]`. ### `disable-terracotta` / `disable-concrete` / `protect-furniture-cells` - `disable-terracotta` / `disable-concrete` — withhold the terracotta and concrete stairs, slabs and walls (96 blocks). With `furniture-fallback` on they are served as furniture. On 26.3 vanilla already has concrete slabs and stairs, so those are skipped unless ViaBackwards is installed for older clients. - `protect-furniture-cells` — a furniture piece's cell is air to the server, so without this, blocks with no hitbox (buttons, rails, levers, string, pressure plates, torches) could be placed inside one. On, they cannot. ## `tools` For `/cmb glow` and `/cmb kill`. Re-read by `/cmb reload tools` without touching the pack. | key | default | meaning | |---|---|---| | `default-radius` | `8` | blocks around you when a command gives no radius | | `max-radius` | `32` | the largest either command accepts | | `glow-colors` | per category | outline colour per category, `#RRGGBB` | | `block-outline` | `NONE` | what each outline is drawn with. `NONE` = glow only, or a block seen inside its glow, e.g. `white_stained_glass_pane[north=true,south=true]` | ## `resource-pack` Who distributes the pack. `craftengine` (default) has CraftEngine send it on join. `rspm` hands it to ResourcePackManager and switches CraftEngine's own sending off, so packs merge instead of competing — **set `resource-pack.delivery: rspm` in `paper-global.yml`** if you run other resource-pack plugins, or the packs will compete. `install: false` leaves the deployed pack alone, for when you maintain it by hand. ## `update-checker` Asks Modrinth on startup and every 12 hours whether a newer release exists for this server's Minecraft version, and tells the console and players with `cmb.admin`. Nothing is downloaded.
