Welcome to the chippy wiki.
chippy is a few experiments of attached peripherals to the Intel Edison system-on-module (SOM). These peripherals are low-power and small sensors, actuators and interfaces to oher electrical appliances. Instead of the yocto-linux ditribution provided with the Intel Edison, these experiments are performed mainly in the ubuntu-based Ubilinux distribution from http://www.emutexlabs.com
Installation of Ubilinux onto Intel Edison
A good tutorial is at http://www.sparkfun.com
Post Installation of Ubilinux
Notes of some unconscious ubuntu post-installation administration
Attached Peripheral Tests
A table of available peripherals to be, or tested with the Edison. Attached peripheral tests
Audio Experiments
Pollution, noise-agression, strain gauge, beamforming.
Video Experiments
License plates, spectrograms, remote microscopy.
