SheepShaver for Windows seems to have a limit on the number of Windows host files that it can list in a Finder window. For example, I use the "Computer" (or "This PC") icon and navigate to a directory with 150 entries, the Finder will only show around 60. The number seems to vary (perhaps because it depends on the length of the actual filenames?). The Finder window only shows the filenames at the start of the alphabet (typically A through P, depending on the size of the directory), so it seems as the filenames are being sorted, but only some are being made available to the Mac OS.

I can build the current code for SheepShaver for Windows in Mingw (though only without JIT support). I've been trying to find the place in the code that sets the size for Windows directory entries, but I can't find it anywhere. (I'm a beginner at this.) Can anyone suggest a change that might be made in the code to allow SheepShaver to access larger directories than it can manage now?
