  1. Small style cohesion

  2. More comments on why notifications are used

This is to prevent me from coming back and thinking why didn't I just do
a lookup of the active application on activating iTerm2?
  3. Cleanup comments to be clearer

  4. Setup os specific install items

Includes first Mac specific item to register a hotkey to hide and show
iTerm2 since the iTerm2 HotKey Window is really annoying with its
animation and refusing to stay when it doesn't have focus. I tried using
applescript and a Service menu item but it had a few problems:
    - the service menu hotkey wasn't always active in applications
    - when the hotkey did work it would sometimes take seconds to activate
Something went wrong with that request. Please try again.
