Purpose

The primary goal of the Community of Edinburgh Research Software Engineers (CERSE) is to invite active, interested Research Software Engineers (RSEs) to bootstrap and participate in a local community of practice.

This meeting is a Software Showcase. A chance for us to discover and celebrate the software being developed at the University of Edinburgh!

Venue, Date, Time

In the Bayes.Theorem (formerly G.03) at The Bayes Centre, 15:00-17:00, Wednesday 18th March 2026.

If you would like to attend this event, please register. The room has a capacity of 50, and we need to know how many teas and coffees to order.

Code of Conduct

We expect all attendees at this meeting to abide by the Carpentries Code of Conduct. In summary, we encourage the following behaviour:

  • Use welcoming and inclusive language
  • Be respectful of different viewpoints and experiences
  • Gracefully accept constructive criticism
  • Focus on what is best for the community
