Unfortunately, Amazon Linux isn't currently supported so I'm closing this issue. See #6505 and #6506 and the need to include --debug with certbot-auto

If you're on Amazon Linux 2, some users have had success following the instructions for CentOS/RHEL 7 at https://certbot.eff.org/.
