In the long run the following items are a must-have, but those are pretty large tasks potentially, therefore we should not wait for them to release a new bugfix release:

I support this, both issues are the most important things to fix to make WhereYouGo playable with offline maps again - what's an important feature of this great app. Let's hope it's development isn't dead and somebody is able to fix both things.

Hello, using c:geo I'm used to access my offline maps through Android/media/...Locus.../vectormaps. If I have a wish for an anniversary update on February or in the future - a modernized file access would be a nice gift. Even if smartphones have more memory than a 5" disk nowadays, I try to avoid duplicating maps on my phone.
(On the other side - if everyone is happy with online maps (only two comments here) - offline maps seem to be deprecated.)
