@stemkoski

Can you address the texturing issues mentioned in
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/9999531/adding-textures-to-a-three-js-shape-after-it-has-gone-throught-a-csg-js-process
in the latest version of ThreeCSG?

@chandlerprall

That has been planned for a long time, just needed some motivation to implement :)

Should have it in place later this week.

I've been trying to come up with a similar project - I look forward to seeing how yours comes out.

I have basic vertex normals + uv support in place but it breaks under some conditions. Probably will have it ready on Friday.

Still using the old version, having some odd problems after translating and rotating a mesh... seems like a local/global coordinate confusion... if you have time for any advice, new version is at: http://home.adelphi.edu/~stemkoski/Three.js/Flatland-CSG.html

Do you mind starting a new issue item for that question? Helps me to keep track of what's going on in each better :) Also for that, can you give more details on what you expect to happen vs. what is actually happening? I wouldn't be surprised at all if it's a local/global coordinate issue -- there are a couple use cases where that the CSG interface isn't intuitive in that regard.

As for UVs, I have pushed the experimental branch so you can start using them even if they are messed up a bit right now.
