Column hover effect

Can the hover effect on the column be possible on bar and line chart of chart.js ?
I was trying to search this feature from past 2-3 days but weren't able to find anything like that...
Anyone can help me in this matter ??

As the following images shows, when i hover a bar, the background of that bar have some hover effect. Could it be done by chart.js too ? if yes then please help me with this functionality...

This might be possible by using a plugin that responds to a mousemove event and then drawing something custom in the chart. Might be a little complicated and it's not possible in v2.4. V2.5 will have some enhancements to allow plugins to get easy access to the mouse event

when can we expect V2.5 ? I get stuck in middle of something just because of this hover effect...
