Accessibility Feature Request

Have you considered making ChartJS accessible to assistive devices such as screenreaders.

So far, I've only seen one Chart Library that allows for additional accessibility options and that's: https://www.amcharts.com/accessibility/accessible-charts/

If this is already available please excuse me and point me in the right direction.

Duplicate of #1976 which has a small amount of discussion already.

I'm open to sharing ideas or getting some requirements to see what we can add. I think we'd likely have to use some fallback content (presumably screen readers can't support anything canvas related) but I don't know what that entails. If you have specific requirements for screenreaders, feel free to post them in the other issue and we can discuss or open a PR that we can iterate on 😄
