Issue #6 had @nenolod mention reducing the diff between charybdis and ircd-seven. Something from ircd-seven I want to suggest being implemented into charybdis are the global server notices. This would make administration of networks a bit easier.

Err, what?

Those are implemented in Charybdis, they just do /notice $$*.freenode.net [global notice] blahblah.

Global server notices as in server notice masks, not literal notices.

I'll let spb comment on this. I am not sure what all he made L_NETWIDE in seven.

seven makes just about everything L_NETWIDE that isn't almost guaranteed to be generated at the same time on all servers. In a situation where different servers might have different admins, this is the wrong thing to do.

How about the global nick change notices?

I think this is better solved ala sno_farconnect.so approach.
