When using Ruby on Rails >=3.2 the cherokee webserver fails to spawn multiple instances due to the fact that the rails server checks the default path tmp/pids/ to see if its allready running.

A server is already running. Check /home/redmine/redmine-2.5/tmp/pids/

setting -P tmp/pids/cherokee_(port).pid in the interpreters fixes this.
