As it is soon to be published, it should be considered to implement support for HTTP/2.

1/2015 Address IESG comments and submit to RFC Editor
2/2015 Publish HTTP/2 as a RFC

Is this likely to land some time this year?

@alobbs was working on the requirements for http2 in a different repository. But I am not aware of active development on it.

I started a parallel project to implement all the underlying bits and pieces required to bring HTTP/2 to Cherokee. Unfortunately, I couldn't find enough time as for pushing that forward. I'd absolutely love to get back to the Web server business and make Cherokee/http2 happen, but my daily job is on a completely different field and that makes it pretty difficult.

The HTTP/2 protocol is a huge, chaotic, but yet somehow beautiful mess I'd enjoy implementing :-)
