What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. configure pam
2. type empty/username password [thus hit ok]
3. crash

We talked about this before; Just don't allows empty stuff!

This doesn't fix the other issue.

Agree on checking the username, but.. can't PAM handle empty passwords?

Under Linux I get segv.
