Guys, the market is awesome. It helps a lot with new installations... but, when dealing with current installations and/or migrations, you don't see much use for it.
The wizard is super useful in these cases. For example, let's say my website is based on joomla and is modified to suite my needs (templates, modules, etc). if I'd were to migrate my joomla installation to Cherokee, I'd just use a wizard to configure an instance and that's that.
I see two solutions:
In particular, I'm suffering because I hate joomla... and now, I have to deal with it's configuration manually on cherokee... ooohhh....
Also, please, add version support... you know 1.15 and 1.16 on joomla <yuk!>... drupal and stuff...
And... add a template for feature requests! Alvaro, good work! ;)

We are looking at the possibility of extending the functionality of some of the apps on the market, so they can deal with external/previous deployments.

This request is very important for anyone who is not a novice first-time installer. The only way i have been able to install Drupal 7 GIT version is to install from market place, than rewrite the config to point to different folders, merge settings files, mess with the database. Highly inconvenient and imho unnecessary, please revert 6348.
Market's gone and wizard's available. Close
