What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Verify no /tmp/cherokee.* files exist
  2. Launch cherokee (or cherokee-admin, or presumably anything that launches a Cherokee instance)
  3. Terminate said Cherokee process
  4. Watch amazed how now there is a /tmp/cherokee.XXXXXXblurb file

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

/tmp/cherokee.XXXXXXblurb should be erased when the server exits, at least when it is gracefully terminated

I'm forwarding you this bug report from Debian bug #643007.
