LED which 3mm or 5mm shell type and whether surface-mounting type or not is connected when Anode connects to GPIO, Cathode connects to GND, puts resistance(200Ω-1kΩ) between Anode and GPIO. But it will light before the application starts. So I recommend to connect Pulldown port initially.|
