It's very handy that you can create your add-on page and save as draft, to review any changes to your add-on's description and such. It might also be easy to forget that it is a draft and not published yet. I would suggest adding some kind of alert or message on the public page that the page is still in draft or preview, and won't be public until clicking publish.
Related to this, I wouldn't assume that users adding their add-ons through this system are familiar with how WordPress works.
