Sorry, y'all RSS is hindering things

Here’s the problem...

The metrics that sponsors care about are email subscribers. That’s it. They don’t want to hear about web/rss or total reach. It’s not a metric they can grok easily or compare across newsletters they sponsor. The sponsors look at subscriber count, period.

I wondered why your feed was 404-ing..

I understand the reasoning, and would be interested to learn if you did see an email subscriber bump after this change. If not, it would be great to reinstate the feed.
