I dunno, the addon is called "µBlock" for a reason and I'd be wary of additions that would introduce a lot of page processing, thus rendering the CPU and RAM improvements kind of moot.

Many of the rules can be converted to ABP-compatible rules, and for what can't be converted, it's first a matter of suggesting a specific and well-thought extension to current ABP-filter syntax along with spelling out what this solves specifically -- and whether such an filter syntax extension will be accepted is another matter.

Hi,
nice addon. Perhaps it would be interesting for you to merge this https://github.com/typpo/ad-detector into your addon. This would be a really nice feature which adblock and adblock plus do not have.
If then a user could send in URLs via right click, then choose from the context menu: "Report Native Advertising" to indicate native advertising articles (they are coming more and more): this would be some kind of "social adblocking".
Why: cause Users should know if the read an article which was written mainly from marketing agencies from big companies nad not from independent journalists shouldnt they ?
greetings!
