Welcome to the JCMS: Journal of Cinema and Media Studies editorial wiki.
This wiki contains submission guidelines and process documentation for authors and referees, as well as documentation detailing editorial procedures for JCMS (formerly Cinema Journal). It is intended for the use of all our constituencies: authors, referees, and editors. Here you will find documentation for all aspects of the editorial process, from preparing a manuscript for submission to final proofing and everything in between.
Where to start
For general information, you should consult the general Overview of the editorial process.

Coming into Force
The guidelines and documentation included here come into effect on November 1, 2017, as a new editor (Caetlin Benson-Allott) and masthead take control of the journal. The masthead will review the editorial procedures on an ongoing basis and at regular intervals thereafter, according to the process outlined in Reviewing the editorial process.
